Whenever i start painting an illustration i keep a strip of paper beside me to test and prepare colours before i paint it in. The last illustration i made was so colourful that even the strip looked pretty by the time i finished!

Such a neat idea! I did that quite a lot until I finally did a whole page with all my Copic marker colors for reference. :) This could be a great, unique bookmark!
